As you can see from the lack of posts I am busy at work running up to retirement.
That is not to say I have not been crafting, but more ideas going around in the head, than actual makes.
Looking on YouTube for some flower instructions I was side-tracked by a new box I had not seen before. A Stampin-up demonstrator was showing a box which self-closes and of course like any crafter I had to have a go.
The instructions given were for a box using A4 card and cutting it into a square which makes it very easy to use your card stash.
I started off making this one as a trial and then managed to design the box from a 12 x 12 sheet of card. This makes a useful size box, which I thought I would use for a selection of small Easter eggs, so I finished it with bunny rabbit ribbon and a matching tag.
The finished box measures 18cm x 6.5cm x 6.5cm

More Flowers
Like most crafters I cannot throw away pieces of card or papers more than 2" square and pop them into a folder.
I like to use them for die cutting which works out well but then I get sidetracked and start making flowers
I had several lots made up in the cupboard when I made some more flowers from my heartfelt creation dies with some pretty red spotted papers. I have kept a few for future projects and packaged some up to sell.
Just from my tray in the cupboard I made 8 packs of flowers to put on ebay, they are so therapeutic as once they are cut out I can sit in by the tele and scrunch them up shape and manipulate them until they have interesting petals.
Mixed bag of flowers using various types of papers and finishes
